PowerPoint was still called Presenter back then it wasn’t until 1987 that the presentation software would acquire its current name, and the rest is geek history. Actually, it’s a little known fact that PowerPoint was originally designed for Mac – or rather the Macintosh as it was known back in the 80s. It’s owned by Microsoft after all, who understandably develop software for their own platform first…or at least so you’d think. PowerPoint has always been synonymous with Windows.
